used as a teaching tool. For example, if you are trying
to show what a parody is and use one of our cartoons that
is a parody, this would be allowed but if you are using
the cartoon as an illustration to accompany a discussion
on topic such as a math cartoon on algorithms to explain
algorithms, then this is not covered under the fair use
portion of copyright law. |

allow you to post one free cartoon a week. You would
be required to include a small ad/link above the cartoons

The ad would direct readers to our webstore (and if
you join the affiliate program you can earn 5 percent
of any sales that come through the link) and the text
ink would go to our website's cartoon searchable database.

Custom Cartoons and Cartoon Illustrations
|

The artist
does accept commission work for a fee and depending on the types
of rights you would like for use of the design, prices can range
from $250 - $2000. The fee depends on a few factors such as if
you want a humorous illustration to accompany copy that you are
providing or if you want the cartoonist to create the gag and
drawing. The rates also depend on the type of publication rights
you want. (First rights, reprint rights or all rights.)
If you want to use the design for your own personal use and don't
plan on using the design on any marketing then the fee is closer
to $250. If you want to use it for your company for all marketing
purposes then we will quote on the hob. |

Here's how custom
cartoons work:
a) You would give us the basic concept of what you are looking
for. There is a fee of $100 for the rough draft that can be applied
to the final payment of the finished art.
b) The artist would draw up a rough draft and email or fax the
concept to you.
c) You would have the opportunity to comment on the image and
make changes.
d) A final rough would be sent to you if there are a lot of changes.
e) Once the image is approved, final payment is required. We accept
checks or credit card payments (processed through paypal.com).
f).An electronic image in your preferred format would be sent
(jpeg, gif, or tifs) |

is NOT required (except where noted) .We accept credit
cards processed through paypal and will also invoice you
for a check payment. WE CAN NOT PROCESS CHREDIT CARD ORDERS

must pay by paypal in US funds. All reprint orders from
students and foreign countries excluding Canada, United
